I’m not super familiar with his body of work, so it’s hard to tell from this one film what’s genuine and what’s facade, but it’s clear that he’s not afraid of channeling dismissive or condescending attitudes toward women. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a gambit to resonate with his target audience as he demonstrates a keen aptitude at grabbing sound bites and controlling the pathos of his interactions.
